So you probably are looking at the title wondering why the title ends with “…that really work”. I’m not going to tell you that healing scriptures don’t work because it all depends on the condition of your heart.
What is meant by that is that you must learn to eat scripture like you eat food. Everyone knows how to eat food and you could do that with your eyes closed as long as you know it’s in front of you.
So why don’t we eat scripture that way?
When it’s in front of you (The Bible), you easily eat it because you can literally eat it reading the Word. But what about when you are far from a written word Bible? Well that’s when memorization and putting it in your heart come to play.
The healing scriptures that really work are the ones that are spoken and are already in your heart. So my goal in this post is to give you 5 scriptures that have to do with healing so that you can memorize them and that way you can use them to heal your body, mind, and soul.
- Exodus 15:25,26
“So he cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a tree. When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet.
There He made a statute and an ordinance for them, and there He tested them, and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you.”
- Psalm 103:2-6
“Bless the LORD, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” - Deuteronomy 7:15
“And the LORD will take away from you all sickness, and will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases of Egypt which you have known, but will lay them on all those who hate you”
- Jeremiah 17:14
“Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; Save me, and I shall be saved, For You are my praise”
- Proverbs 3:7-8
“Do not be wise in your own eyes;
fear the LORD and shun evil.
This will bring health to your body
and nourishment to your bones.” - 1 Peter 2:24
