I’m Jon – good to see you here on my site. I hope that you came to learn something about yourself that you previously iddn’t know.
I say learn about you because I’m a solid believer in relationship reflections. Simply put, mirrors are always held up to show us what we can do better in our lives.
A bit about me
I was born and raised in the portland area and really love the land and scenery here in the pacific northwest. I’ll make it known that the government hasn’t been a favorite of mine since about the time of my graduation from high school.
So there’s some things to be said about my life which I’ll get more into throughout the blogs on this site.
I used to be heavily involved in playing baseball and loved playing, the travel to tournaments, etc. However, when life starts it is definitely tough to keep going unless you structure your life around those decisions. I, however, did not do that.
I chose instead to have a child and get married at a very early age of 18. Statistically speaking you could guess what happened in my first marriage.
The facts that remain throughout my past up until recently, crept up and kept trying to speak into my life in one way or another. Things like not pursuing a life in the pro baseball arena so that I would have given it a 100% effort continually haunted me for many years.
It wasn’t until I learned I needed to give that up to God that I found forgiveness and healing.
