In today’s post, I want to talk to you a bit about the demonic strategies that christians today are up against. These strategies are nothing new and are only going to be amped up even more in the end times. So what do we need to do in order to get rest from these strategies?
First we need to know what the strategies are and where they came from. I’m sure you already know that there is a curse on America that can only be reversed by turning our eyes back to YHWH, Jehovah. He is the answer to all of our issues, concerns and those that turn to him will start to see their lives become more prosperous and loaded with favor.
The other quick item that needs to be mentioned is that christians need to be very aware of Jewish roots and what I mean by that is to start learning about the Jewish feasts. They will act as a decoder to the end times as to when the rapture will happen and how it will happen as well. I’m sure most know already that the time is VERY SHORT! The coming blood moons are going to start happening in just over a month’s time at the time of this post.
Satanic Strategies

So here are the very strategies that Satan has used all throughout time and his mode of operation has never changed because this is all that he has to use against christians and jews alike. There is a spirit of leviathan found in Job 41 and Isaiah 27 which has many heads. In Ancient Samaria, there was a sculptured image created out of clay in the form of a leviathan. Leviathan means many heads, and relates to Satan being the head of the empires.
The greek word for dragon (Drak’-own) actually means a fabulous kind of serpent.
In Ephesians 2:2 the bible states that Satan is the prince of the power of the air. Which means that Satan is in heavenly places such as the imagery of the heavenly stars (Revelation 12) and in the garden of eden (Genesis 3). The seven heads of the dragon represent many different things but in prophecy, they are mostly referred to the seven biblical empires.
- Egypt
- Assyria
- Babylon
- Media-Persia
- Greece
- Rome
- Final Empire of the Anti-Christ
These are the 7 main biblical empires that have ruled throughout time and all of them had a spirit attached to them. The governments have been afflicted by them and as I show you through this post, some of these have afflicted America today.
Demonic Strategies Found In The 7 Empires and The Spirits Found Within Them
Egyptian Empire: Bondage

The First Empire is the Egyptian Empire. What they did was to put people into bondage. When the Pharaoh wanted complete control of his empire with nobody having time to come after him with challenges, he would start taxing them to make them work even more to make ends meet. If you read in Exodus 1, you’ll find that the king that new not Joseph appointed taskmasters over the hebrew people; which means to say in hebrew, they had many tax collectors to enforce taxes over the empire at the time.
Sound familiar?
I’d argue that the current administration is doing the very same thing and using the one service – that isn’t even part of our government to collect taxes. President Obama has backed the IRS to come find more taxes that are owed the government. This is a form of bondage and we as a people all agree that taxes are way too high from the bottom to the top of the food chain.
One of the other similarities noted is that the Egyptians started to allow abortions Exodus 1:16:22, although not by the same method then – they allowed babies to be thrown in the nile river and “aborted” by the Nile river. This is also going on in our country as well as paying for other countries to do the same with tax dollars. if you look at the growth of planned parenthood, you’ll see how much of our government has been supporting the very existence of this service. One of the most deceitful misnomers is the group called “Planned Parenthood”.
Assyrian Empire: Division
The second empire is the Assyrian empire which employed the strategy of division. In 1 Kings 11:26-40, you find out that it wasn’t the assyrians that started the division is was Solomon’s son Rehoboam. Rehoboam wouldn’t listen to the older and wiser counsel (1 Kings 12:1-15). His thought was to start listening to the youth movement to try to get the economy going – but failed miserably in not listening to the elders advice.
He instead listed to the people that he grew up with and scourged the people with a heavier yoke (1 Kings 12:10-11). Because the economy was so big and many building programs needed upkeep, rehoboam wanted to tax the people to keep these things going – just like in america – and there was a tax revolt that split the kingdom. This allowed the Assyrians to split the kingdom up by taking them to other places in the land other that the tribe of Benjamin, and the tribe of Judah in the south because their land was connected to the temple.
This is the spirit that brings divisions in the church, relationships and on and on with other divisions. God doesn’t like to see division because he is a God of Love. To love one another is to join in unison.
Babylon Empire: Confusion

In Genesis 11:9, there was the tower of Babel. This is the main representation of this empire because in the end of this “project” to build a tower to God, God sent down a wind that would confuse the speech of everyone on the planet.
The bible says in Leviticus 20:12 that if a man is to lay with his daughter, this is also a form of confusion. I’ve heard many people say that they are so confused as to what to do next after doing things like sleeping with someone before marriage, or things that they shouldn’t do or some form of immorality. That’s the spirit of confusion.
The spirit of babylon is a chief principality of confusion and has affected many nations even today.
When the babylonian empire brought the people from Israel to babylon, they took out the eyes of their leadership. This is where confusion sets in because when you take out the eyes of leadership, the leadership can not discern, and when your leadership can not discern, you have confusion. (2 Kings 25:7)
Psalms 137:1-4 is a remnant of what happens when you have no focus or are confused. The people were down and depressed without any joy, and said how can we sing to our Lord in a foreign land? There has not been any time in recent history where the lack of the joy of the Lord has been so great!
Media-Persia: Frustration

Now when you look at what spirit was upon Media-Persia you see many different things happening, such as preventing people to to build, and even bribes happening to start frustrating the tribe of Judah so that they would not rebuild and cause the economic center to be moved back to Jerusalem (Ezra 4:4-5).
To understand this further, you should know at the time that the economic center was in Samaria. The people of Samaria did not want this to happen so they passed laws to hinder them from rebuilding things in the land of Jerusalem.
Look at what is happening now in today’s world. It seems that over the last few years there has been a ton more frustration in life. We have frustrations such as the car breaking down in places that just aren’t prime areas; and I personally know someone just recently that had an RV break down in an area where there is no cell phone coverage or internet. Talk about Frustration – that’s gotta land on the top list of frustration.
Other things such as children acting out, not getting the job promotion you well deserve but seems you just never get there. All are under the umbrella of frustration in our lives. In Galatians 2:21 it says that you are not to frustrate the grace of God.
Why? Well if you are frustrated, you’re looking to other methods to satisfy and therefore not allowing your growth to continue to get where God wants you. I’m not saying that you shouldn’t wrestle with God – because that is a biblical principal with Jacob. What I am saying is that frustration is akin to confusion and that leaves you in a place that is not where God wants you to be spiritually.
Greece: Laws to Prevent Righteousness

There’s a story of Alexander the Great where he had gone to Jerusalem and spared the priests life because he had had a dream of this priest. The Priest told him that he would rule the world and showed him the prophecy (scroll) of Daniel and the priest was spared. The reason he was spared was that this priest said he would not bow down to him and Alexander the great did not like this, decided to go kill these people (Priesthood) but when he got there, he remembered him from a dream and spared his life.
In 168 B.C., Antiochus IV Epiphanies enforced laws stating that the jewish people could not
- perform sacrifices
- read scripture
- circumcise their young boys
- worship on the sabbath day
- He took over the temple mount
- Placed a pig on the altar
These are what is called legalized abominations and are happening in today’s world now. Things such as people not being allowed to
- pray in school
- hold a bible study because it’s against the zoning laws
- pray in public
and the list goes on to things that you wouldn’t have dreamed would happen, but they are happening!
You see, these things don’t happen unless the spirit first causes men to act on them. When you have a leader enact a law, it’s due to one of three sources; and they are all spiritual.
- Their spirit
- Spirit of God
- Satan
Those are the only choices. Most of the time it’s man’s spirit but there isn’t a real good fail proof way to discern where it came from unless you are in tune with the Spirit of God – which is the ONLY WAY to tell.
Now we’ve gone through 5 of the 7 different demonic strategies used to afflict God’s people. But it’s not just God’s people that are afflicted, it’s people that don’t even know about the spiritual arena. People that are not under God’s protection think that life is grand and there is no problems happening with them – think again. There is a great dilution going on in their soul and that needs to be remedied so that an eternity in heaven can be a realization rather in hell – which is a real place.
Roman Empire: Tolerance of Sin
The last known empire to use demonic strategies is the Romans. The spirit used is the tolerance of sin. In today’s world you see many people of the world ask for tolerance for the things they do such as immorality, unhealthy habits, etc. However, when it we start to share our beliefs they start to cry foul and are no longer tolerant to christians. You’d think that the road should be a two way road but it’s obviously not that way when these people start saying things like the church hates sinners, the church hates people, the church hates particular selections of people.
That’s just not the case. What is hated is the sin. That’s where the confusion sets in or maybe some would call it stubbornness to see the light or truth. The spirit of Rome tolerated everything under the sun except for the traditions of Christianity because it was different than what the Roman empire believed.
Final Empire of the Anti-Christ: Weariness
“He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws. The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time.”
Daniel 7:25
In the Hebrew, the saints that are referred to are the jewish people because at that time the church was not constituted yet.
However, there are parallels to this that apply to us as the church today. Just because the reference was the jewish people specifically doesn’t mean that christians are not affected by this. In fact, God tells us that we are to love one another all throughout the bible. Does this mean we are to make a selection of who we love? No, it means literally that we are to join forces with the Jews and love them as Christians. The bible is a reflection of marriage all throughout each book. God is sending us a message of love but we are down here fighting and bickering because ‘the world” is listening to the very one that wants to destroy us – God’s creation.
So in the last days, the antichrist will try to break our spirits, and our will. It’s said that when you raise a horse, you are to break it’s spirit but not the will. If you break the will, the horse will not be any good to you because it will not have any desire or confidence to move for you. The same is said with a child. You break its spirit, once the child is old enough to move out you will never see them as a parent.
To Be In God’s Protection On The Battlefield
The sole purpose of the final empire is to wear the saints down. Galatians 6:9 says “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
The answer to all of this is to know how to pray collectively, and individually both in your native tongue and in your prayer language – which everyone has. This is different than the gift of tongues, which is done in a church gathering to have a word of knowledge.
Lastly, please be obedient to the Lord in all that you do and resist the devil. The bible says that if you do, the devil will flee. When the devil flees, the demonic strategies will be nullified and your walk with God will be so much easier. This too takes practice and the troubled times will pass as you get stronger in the spirit realm as the Holy Spirit guides you!
