Monster Trucks
It seems that when the monster trucks come into town lately! I’ve been one of those that made it to the showing. You see I have a grandson that means the world to me and the last time he went to see his dad’s side of the family! They promised him that he could go, but it didn’t happen. My first thought was to find out when the next time monster jam came into town.
My daughter told her boyfriend and his family and they decided to get tickets to the monster trucks as well.
Thank you. You know who you are!
It’s not every day that you get to go spend time with your family at an event that is geared for fun. I took full advantage of this and amidst all the other things going on in my life, I managed to have a great time.
I put together a quick video that I took with my iPhone 5 – which was edited with the iMovie app on my iPhone 5 as well.
Monster Truck / Monster Jam Event On Video
As you can tell, we had a blast and the trucks were VERY LOUD! Earplugs are needed for sure – which I believe they provide the cheap yellow, squishy plugs. There were lots of people who had customized headphone type ear protectors. I wish I had a couple of pictures to post of them. Next time 🙂
I think overall, my favorite truck for the night was the grave-digger. The driver has been in the business now for over 20 years and seems to really know how to handle his truck. As far as appearance, I really like the truck called “El Toro Loco”. The cool part was when the truck blew steam from the “nostrils” of the truck.
Another cute truck was “Dalmatian” driven by the only girl on the tour. I think she was put in there just to look cute. She didn’t really have what it takes to win any of the matches.
Making Money By Blogging About Monster Trucks
There are plenty of ways to make money on the net. Blogging is one of them and it’s the cheapest form of advertising available. Click here and find out how I’m making money by writing about anything I want (e.g., monster trucks). It’s not rocket science, in fact, it’s like watching a Monster Truck event
Some things to remember when going to a monster truck event
- Take a camera It’s always good to have photos of the events you go to when you are with the family. It doesn’t hurt if your camera also does video. I’ve found that our phones are perfect for this, however, for those photo/video enthusiasts, a proper video camera and/or DSLR cameras are generally allowed at these types of events.
- Take protective gear for your ears Monster trucks are very loud. If you think you’re hearing is going to be able to “tough out” the loud engine noises, think again. It doesn’t matter what age you are. Sure, if you’re younger, you can bounce back but think long-term. Save your hearing!
- Take extra cash with you – It’s these types of events that your children want to get the souvenirs and snacks. Having to go to an ATM and pay the $3-$5 service fee is a bit expensive in order to get YOUR money.
When you know that you have all the things you want to take with you, the next item to check off is the easiest! GO HAVE A LOT OF FUN!!
Enjoy your time at the arena.
