Right Believing – When You Know The Character Of God, Things Just Flow!
The reason I’m writing this blog is to tell you that right believing and the state of Christian affairs has been torn apart by the adversary of our souls. Its things like “God has a reason why this is happening to me”, or “God doesn’t love me because He has done (insert negative action) to me”.
Why God deserves to get all of this negative attention is beyond me and actually it should be placed on the very one that has caused this to begin with. Satan. Lucifer. The Adversary of our souls. The Devil (which is actually an improper name – and I’ll explain later about this). Anyways, you get the point that these negative things happening in your life have nothing to do with God doings to you.
Isaiah 41:13 says, “For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you.”
Of course, one of the most well-known verses that show how much God LOVES us is…
Those are just a couple of the verses that show how much God loves us and doesn’t want any harm to happen to us. Can you just imagine for one moment, giving your son or daughter for all of mankind? Now add in the flavor of evil hearts in all of them. Would you even consider doing this for them, knowing that you only had one son or daughter? I’d say that is some pretty hefty love for a people who ultimately could just perish away in the sins that they commit.
That just wasn’t good enough for Him. YHWH being the God of love, grace, and mercy (in this present age) had compassion on us and saved us. It’s a pure love that no human can understand in our present fleshly bodies, nor could we have the capacity to feel or endure this love in its fullest. I believe that this is the reason why people have heavenly experiences that take them into the spirit and this is how they are able to experience the fullest of emotions that God created for our enjoyment.
So if God Loves Us So Much…
This is the one argument that people will throw up immediately because of one main reason. They have been hurt and are operating and reacting as if the wounded never closed up. Painful when touched.
When you ask a question that most christians don’t know how to answer – mainly because they don’t know the personality of God – the question asking can be a bit convoluted. If you know the character and personality of God (YHWH), then you know that any question about God implicating him for doing bad things to you is absolutely wrong. God is pure love, pure light, and no lie, darkness, or evil can be found within or about him.
So the answer to this type of question is always simple. It’s blame goes to the one bound for the pit of hell for eternity.
Clearing Up Flawed Translations
We all should know the most popular verse in the bible – or at least one of the most popular, John 3:16. This might seem a bit picky but when you look at it in a way that states you are a being without beginning or end – you become a god, which we are not.
What Is Meant by this?
John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever should believe on him, should not perish but have eternal life”
This is one of the best expressions of love that can be shown by anybody. INCLUDING YHWH!!
There’s one small tweak that needs to happen to this verse though and through the translation, has a bad connotation. Can you guess where it is in the verse? I’ve given you a big hint in the beginning of the section. We are not gods. To be a god you must have existed before man or for that matter before creation. This would imply that we are eternal.
Only God is eternal.
When the verse says we are eternal it implies that we are equal to or God like in that we existed before creation. Why would mans hearts be boastful? I would suggest that some slight nuances such as the word slights inserted could cause this very puffiness in mans heart.
The Solution
Instead of saying we are eternal, let’s start saying that we have everlasting life. We know that we are spirit and that our spirit is without end. Using the word everlasting makes much more sense in this translation than eternal. By the way, it’s the NIV that has this mistaken translation. This is part of the right believing that we need to have in order move forward in what God has for us.
Be a good steward of the Word of God and check with the original Greek and/or Hebrew. If this seems to be a big mountain to climb because you don’t know Greek or Hebrew, this is made simple with technology now. Remember the old, but very popular slogan, “there’s an app for that”? it’s true and you can download an app for your phone to translate things to the original greek or hebrew and what the word really meant.
If you’re going through life learning what people teach you by simply believing what they say without doing some research yourself, it’s time to start proving what you hear for yourself. After all, you are the only one to be held accountable for what YOU do in your life while here on earth. So make it count! Do not stay in the position of getting your ears tickled.
God Is In Control – But Is He?
I’ve heard this growing up all the time and it didn’t sit well with me because I always thought, “If God is in control, and God loves us so much, then why doesn’t He fix everything?”
Have you been thinking this very thing as well?
When you take a look at His character, you know that YHWH is love and all the other things mentioned above. Knowing that, we can also know that He does want to fix everything! However there are certain spiritual laws in place that EVEN YHWH must abide to or He would put his holiness into jeopardy.
Wouldn’t that be a blow to the kingdom? …and also an inroad for the adversary to get what he wants.
If God is in control, and His will is for all people to be healed and live life abundantly, why hasn’t this happened? Jesus said in John 14:12 AMP
I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father.
Jesus said WE would do GREATER things than these! He also told us in Luke 10:19
Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you.
I’ve heard many people say that YHWH will accomplish the things he sets out to do. I TOTALLY AGREE with this statement. What I don’t agree with is when they use this statement to support their idea of YHWH controlling everything in existence. We’ve been given free will and to that end He does not control everything. It is our choice and our words we speak out that get things done here on earth.
The question that comes to mind is: Do you want your parents to do EVERYTHING for you until the day they die – or you die?
I believe the church has been split apart solely on the very issue of right believing. People that have been hurt because of their fragile state, will back off and believe something that is totally bogus according to the very teachings of Jesus.
So if, we as a church (not a building, but a body of people) are to be the bride of Christ – the empowered bride that Christ has told us to be (Luke 10:19), then we are to start believing the very word that Christ gave to us to believe. Not the translated version that the “scholars” gave to us, but the original Greek and Hebrew.
It’s A Blessing To Be Poor
Do you know of any life in the world that it is considered abundant to be poor? Doesn’t that sound like a contradiction to you? In the words of Christ Jesus, he knew that the poor would be without.
- Without money (Mark 14:5, Matthew 26:9)
- Without food (Matthew 25:35; Luke 3:11)
- Without shelter (Luke 14:21)
- Without family (Zechariah 7:10)
Poverty is not the life that Jesus promised we would have (John 10:10); rather it is the curse that the enemy of our souls wants us to endure.
Jesus said we would always have the poor with us and to not be rude or ignore them. Feed the poor, give to the poor, invite the poor to your parties, etcetera. But did you know that Jesus was not poor?
Here’s how you know Jesus was not poor.
2 Corinthians 8:9
For you are becoming progressively acquainted with and recognizing more strongly and clearly the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ (His kindness, His gracious generosity, His undeserved favor and spiritual blessing), [in] that though He was [so very] rich, yet for your sakes He became [so very] poor, in order that by His poverty you might become enriched (abundantly supplied).
I don’t know how much clearer this can be stated. However, this could be misconstrued.
Some other noticeable items to look at that point to the wealth of Jesus are things like the donkey he rode in to Jerusalem on. Back in the day, this would be like riding in to Washington D.C. here in America in a silver plated Rolls Royce that spares no expense and a chauffeur along with a convoy of look-alike vehicles. To top it off, you add a crowd of people cheering and screaming for Him as he rolls in to the city.
The point here is that It exuded wealth to be able to ride on a donkey.
The other not so well know thought is, if Jesus didn’t experience every part of life, would he really be able to know what we have gone through or are going through. Maybe he didn’t experience the exact life you are going through and the troubles, but what he didn’t experience he died on the cross for so that we can have abundant life. This doesn’t just mean spiritually either (like so many have wrongly preached). It is not a sin to be wealthy otherwise, Jesus would have sinned by the mere fact he was wealthy monetarily. The sin comes in when you love money so much that nothing else matters. Put simply, it’s a curse to be in poverty because nothing about the word poverty has anything to do with abundance in any realm.
Right Believing Is For You!
If you’ve been going through life wondering why you are supposed to be poor in spirit, mind, and physically. You definitely found this blog post because YHWH wants you to know that it’s not His will for you to be poor, sick, or impoverished in any form. So many of the ploys of the media (church elders, news media, televangelist) are speaking out things that were meant to keep the crowds in control. Heaven forbid we have a mind of our own and ears to hear what the Holy Spirit has to say about situations He wasn’t aligned with from the beginning. So if you’re ready to make a decision for Right believing, Jesus is ready to work through you as the hands and feet on this planet we call earth. Get your belief system up to where Jesus wants you to be and then learn how He want’s you to pray so that you can have an impact on this planet now.
When right believing is at work in your life you will have a blessed, prosperous, abundant life!
