We all love to go out and have fun with our friends and family. Jesus does too! The feasts of the bible are built to help everyone have more fun. But to do that the Jewish feasts of the bible need to be laid out and understood. It’s been my experience that Christians do not pay attention to God’s Word. There in his Word explains many mysteries that should be plain as day to his children. However, the devil comes to steal, kill and destroy the moment there is anything or anyone that will allow this to happen.
So, let’s dig into this part of the Word and show how the Kingdom of Heaven works.
This is the feast that commemorates the passage from Egyptian slavery for the Hebrews. On the first Passover, the Hebrews would sacrifice a young lamb, then sprinkle blood on the doorposts. Then the death angel would pass over their household, sparing them for another year. Where there was no blood, the firstborn of the house was slain.
This is a picture of Jesus being sacrificed and him shedding his blood to protect God’s family/children from the “angel of death”.
